General Questions
The number one reason for getting a bimini is to offer optimum protection from the sun, especially on those hot summer days. Each bimini is built with that in mind. We want to offer a bimini that is not only user friendly but a bimini that is large enough to truly offer legitimate sun protection. Our standard bimini is 5 1/2 to 6 feet long and wider than most other tower mounted biminis out on the market. Also our bimini tops are very durable because all our bows are made from a solid piece of metal and not different sections. Coverage, bimini design options and durability are only a few of the many advantages that set our biminis apart from all others.
Our bimini top comes with a storage boot and all necessary mounting hardware so you will be out in the water in no time.
Definitely, we offer bimini tops for almost any boat. Our deck mounted biminis attach to mounts that are drilled into the deck of the boat. Once the bimini is attached, you will be able to easily set up and store the bimini without taking it off the mounts.

The unique advantage of Tower Biminis is our custom quick release clamps that mount on to your tower with no drilling required, then the bimini will simply attach to the clamps and you are ready to hit the lake.
It depends on the time of the year and model of the boat. During the winter, on our lower volume months, it takes approximately 5-15 working days to ship a bimini. During our high volume summer months it could take up to 90 days to ship.
Although bimini tops are built for speeds up to 45 mph on a boat, it is different when being trailered. You must store your bimini in the storage boot while trailering to avoid damage to the bimini and/or boat. Failure to do that will result in voiding your warranty.
Absolutely, all biminis include a solid color storage boot for your top. This boot includes two straps and buckles for strapping the bimini to the tower
Since we ship our bimini tops with whole bows to make them strong and not in individual sections which cause weakness in the frame, typical shipping costs range from $100- $350 depending on the shipping destination and tower make. We ship our bimini tops through FedEx Ground.
International shipping, including Canada is not available at this time. Please see FAQ below regarding shipping to Canada or out of the country.
The tracking information will be on your invoice that will be e-mailed to you. All our domestically shipped bimini tops are shipped through FedEx and anything outside the U.S. will be shipped though DHL. As for small parts, they will be shipped through USPS.
At this time we do not due to the cost of shipping, duties and taxes. We can ship your bimini to a US destination however you will be responsible for getting it across the border and paying all taxes and duties.
Maintenance and Care
To clean Sunbrella while still on a boat, follow these simple steps:
- Brush off loose dirt.
- Hose down.
- Prepare a cleaning solution of water and mild soap such as Woolite or Dawn dishwashing liquid.
- Use a soft bristle brush to clean.
- Allow cleaning solution to soak into the fabric.
- Rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is removed.
- Air dry.
- May not require re-treatment depending on the age of the fabric.
Your bimini top does not require much maintenance. Make sure after a couple of trips that all the screws are nice and snug.
It is simple and quick. By just removing two quick release pins and two thumbscrews the bimini collapses together so that it can then be stored within the storage boot. The bimini is then folded up against the back of the tower and held in place by boot straps. Over The Top biminis might fold up different depending on your tower, our biminis were designed so one person can easily store it.
